Who We Are

A Distinct Identity ... From the very beginning, the difference between International H.O.P.E. Inc. (I. HOPE) and every other program similar to ours is that we started off with the mindset to bring the food to the people - and we will continue to do so.

Here at International H.O.P.E. Inc., we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all. Our decision making process is informed by comprehensive empirical studies and high quality data evaluation. We strive to build productive relationships and make a positive impact with all of our pursuits.

H.O.P.E. stands for Helping Overcome Poverty Everywhere. We are a 501(c)(3) approved faith-based community program helping to end hunger, provide education on said topic and supply basic needs (such as clothing, food and shelter). We provide services not only in the City of Harrisburg, PA (and surrounding cities) but we have stretched our legs state to state including our new home in Florida. We are making huge strides not only in the local communities but and our arms expand over international waters as well.

International H.O.P.E. Inc. was established in November 2014 when God’s vision was given to the CEO / Founder, Kimberly Stratton. She accepted the call and then approached a handful of local Harrisburg residents who wanted to be a part of something greater than themselves and to make a difference in the city in which they all lived in. With the vision, humble beginnings and using 100% of their own funds, they were inspired to feed three families in November 2014. After obtaining the food and loading three separate minivans with the food purchased, each minivan delivered to one family which provided them with enough food for the family to eat over a month’s time. The feeding was so spiritually powerful and touched the hearts of the givers and receivers that the handful of local residents decided to do the same thing the following month in December 2014. From that day on, International H.O.P.E. (previously known as HOPE 717, Inc.) was born and incorporated March 16, 2015. All of our operating staff (incl CEO) and Board members are 100% volunteers. We have provided several community day events in Reservoir Park, located in Harrisburg, PA called Praise In The Park. We have co-hosted with TheVoice17104 (as well as other local organizations and churches) to shine some light in the City of Harrisburg. With all of the murders, killings, increase in crime and violence, the city is calling out for hope. Our events always provide free food, beverages and a host of gospel-tainment to the City of Harrisburg where we welcome our homeless and less fortunate to attend as well because they are the "guests of honor". We plan to bring these type of events to cities in Florida as well as other states -- locally and abroad. These monumental events bring a day of joy to the city, a day of family fun, fellowship and music. A change has to start somewhere and that is what we plan to do.

At this time, International H.O.P.E. Inc. does not have a building and are using in-kind space and services of others. Due to generous donations, we are able to provide multiple feedings throughout the year. No one knows the future, but God. We simply look forward to being used by Him and through us God will allow us to make monumental changes in not only the city in which we reside but world-wide global changes. We started humbly as a feeding program but God has so much more in store for us, His people and all those who will be helped. Change always starts with ordinary people doing extraordinary things for the greater good. We have made huge developments in the local communities since November 2014 and will continue to do so. We measure our results based on the progress we are making in the local communities. To date we have:
